Castell de Prenafeta, also known as Castell dels Moros or Torre dels Moros, stands at approximately 750 meters altitude in the Conca de Barberà region. This medieval fortress, documented since the 12th century, originally belonged to the Pons family before passing to the Santa María de Poblet monastery in 1297, which acquired both civil and criminal jurisdiction over the territory. Today the castle exists as ruins, but from its elevated position offers exceptional panoramic views across the surrounding valley, making it a significant landmark in Catalonia's medieval heritage landscape.
