Castell de Montfalcó el Gros stands as a notable monument near the Church of Sant Pere de Montfalcó in Veciana, Anoia. Dating from the early 11th century and documented from 1027, this castle features a distinctive circular tower with a preserved arch-shaped wall fragment approximately four meters high, dating to its original construction period. The 11th-century tower is estimated to have reached about 30 meters in height and represents exceptional examples of medieval Catalan stonework. The site maintains cultural property of national interest status and offers insight into feudal administrative centers of medieval Catalonia.
