Castell de Mejanell is an 11th-century fortress located in Estaràs, Lleida, featuring a remarkably preserved circular watchtower standing 14 meters tall with original access mechanisms intact. First documented in 1098 as 'Meià,' the medieval complex was expanded in the 14th century with the addition of a rural farmhouse (masía). Recently restored with a spiral staircase providing access to the upper terrace offering panoramic views across La Segarra region, the castle now operates as a rural tourism destination while maintaining its historic character and medieval architectural significance.
