Castell de Bellver is a unique circular fortification constructed beginning around 1300 and completed by 1309 in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands. This exceptional medieval castle served King Jaume II as both royal residence and military fortress, commanding the city from its hilltop at 112.6 metres elevation. Featuring three main towers centered on a Gothic courtyard and a prominent keep, it showcases military innovation rare for Spanish medieval architecture. Today, the castle houses the Museum of City History, preserving artifacts spanning Roman, Arab, and Christian periods.
