Castell de Torres Torres is a 12th-century Muslim fortress situated on a strategically positioned hill near the town of Torres Torres in Valencia, built to control transit along routes connecting the region to Valencia. Originally consisting of four towers connected by walls, the castle now preserves two remaining towers built on a polygonal base featuring medieval loopholes later modified for firearms use. The interior contains remnants of the Torre del Homenaje, a cistern, and preserved wall sections with historical paintings. Though privately owned and currently unrestored, the castle retains its imposing medieval character and represents an important example of regional Islamic fortifications.
