Blairfindy Castle is a hunting seat of the Earls of Huntly built in 1586 on an L-plan in Moray, Scotland. Constructed for John Gordon, the castle carries an armorial stone recording its completion and served as a temporary holding place for the Earl of Huntly in 1647 before his transfer to Edinburgh. Burned by Government troops after the 1746 Culloden rebellion, it was never again occupied and has remained a romantic ruin, offering a poignant reminder of Scottish Jacobite history amid the moorlands of Moray.
